1.GRE Analytical Writing Syllabus

The GRE Analytical Writing section aims to evaluate a candidate’s ability to think critically and logically, demonstrating relevant and rational reasoning with instances. The idea of the analytical section is to express your arguments and discussions from an analytical point of view using standard and correct usage of English vocabulary. This section involves answering two task questions on

1. Issue Task: a candidate is given 30 mins to write an essay on a particular topic.
2. Argument Task: the test taker is given an argument and asked to critically analyze the argument through an essay within a time frame of 30 mins.

2.GRE Verbal Reasoning Syllabus

The Verbal Reasoning section is designed to measure a candidate’s ability to analyze written material and form relationships among sentences with words and concepts. This section assesses the candidate’s knowledge and identification of the author’s perception, relevant points, word meanings, etc.
